The Art of Resilience Open House

Mrs Winfield was invited to attend The Art of Resilience Open House at U.S. Embassy on January 13th

As well as meeting the Syrian artists living in the UK who were highlighting the resilience of the Syrian People, she also met Matthew Barzun the US Ambassador to the UK who made one of his last appearance before he leaves his post in the UK. Matthew Barzun

Mrs Winfield will be taking a group of 10 Year 13 students to the US Embassy later in the month to participate in a workshop; our students will have the opportunity to participate in workshops run by social and traditional media practitioners from the media platforms they use. Additionally, they will be joined by students from other schools to discuss the challenges they face in navigating the modern media environment.  It is hoped that through this conference our students will be better equipped to critically engage with the media and the political issues they care about
