Why We Study Music 

At South Norwood we study music to build confidence through performance and to develop self-discipline through rehearsal and preparation. We study to gain the ability to refine and improve continuously. We foster creativity and allow for emotional expansion. We study to understand how to listen, building emotional integrity while developing a recognition of musical complexity.

We study GCSE & A Level as well as Level 2 RSL Vocational qualifications.

With performances at The Christmas Concert, Jazz Café, Norwood’s Got Talent, Harris on Stage, Harris in Harmony, Singing in the Community, Talent of the Boroughs, NORFEST & our End of Year Musical (to name but a few) the opportunities to perform are endless!
