Nadia Rose pays a visit her old school !

Nadia02
The academy accepted a request from the BBC to film at Harris Academy Upper Norwood just before the end of term to help interview one of our alumni: Nadia Rose. She is a hiphop singer and cousin of Stormzy. It was a wonderful day.

Here is the short film (2.29 seconds) and BBC web interview just published to the web. Harris name checked after 24 seconds: heart-warming imagery and scenes and positive messages.

BBC Video link below.

She is one of the Guardian's top forecasts for 2017 and has made BBC's top 5.

"Young UK rapper Nadia Rose has taken fifth place on the BBC's Sound of 2017 list, which showcases emerging artists for the coming 12 months. Alongside the likes of Little Simz and Lady Leshurr, she's part of a groundswell of female voices in the male-dominated world of UK hip-hop and grime. Two years ago, the 23-year-old was studying for a degree while working 12-hour shifts in a betting shop to make ends meet."
