STEM Workshop At South Site

Today, HASN were delighted to welcome a specialist from the Marine Engineering Pathway Sea Cadets, to conduct a STEM Workshop on buoyancy with 60 of our Year 8s. They were competing to build a vessel of a set size, that could hold the most amount of marbles, whilst floating on water. Through this exciting, engaging, hands-on workshop, the students took away the knowledge of buoyancy and floatation.
