Free project for 15-18yo's during lockdown - Self-Care Club

Self-Care Club

We have put together this free digital project to provide young people in Croydon with a space to look after their wellbeing, express, create and relax during this really challenging time. The Self-Care Club runs from the 25th Jan to the 19th Feb 2021.

The project (with full safeguarding and parental/ guardian permission) will give the participants two things:

1) Access to 10 Zoom sessions a week, 30 mins each, led by professional practitioners including creative writing, yoga, HIIT workouts, Bullet Journalling, Drawing and Doodling, and Q+A's with actors from Netflix, BBC, The Globe and West End shows such as Six, & Juliet and The Play That Goes Wrong.

2) A free Creative Care Package delivered to their door by us, worth around £25, including all the things they might need to join in with the creative sessions including a yoga mat, bullet journal, nice pens and pencils, sketch pad, sweet treats and some offline Self-Care Creative Challenges which they can use as they wish.

It's all free and totally optional in terms of how they choose to engage.

Attached is a digital flyer with all the info, and here is the web link where they can sign up via a simple online form. We would be so grateful if you would circulate it with your year 11, 12 or 13 students and 19yo students still in full-time education can also sign up.

We have 75 places available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We highly value making opportunities accessible to neurodivergent, d/Deaf and disabled participants, and will meet their needs as best we can if they let us know.

Any questions, please let me know! Or you can email the project email address which is selfcareclub@wearezooco.co.uk
